Welcome, and thank you for coming to the
Jerry
Ross
website.
Jerry
Ross
wrote the musical scores
for two of the most popular and enduring musicals in Broadway Theater, The
Pajama Game and Damn
Yankees, two shows which personify the innocence and exuberance
of the Golden Age of Broadway. Along with hits from those shows, such as
“Hey There,” “(Ya Gotta Have) Heart,” and “Hernando’s
Hideaway,” he wrote well-loved pop standards, most notably the
Tony
Bennett
chart-topper “Rags To Riches.”
It is our honor and pleasure to create this presence for
Jerry
Ross.
His twenty-nine years were too few, but the gifts of his songs
live always as a testament to his generous talent. We – his wife,
Judy
, and his daughter,
Janie
-- are happy to share as much as we can to give you a glimpse of his life
and accomplishments and link you to information beyond the scope of our
site.
We intend to keep this website growing. Please feel free to email us if
you have any questions, comments, or even if you have information or
memories about him that you might like to share with us.
Looking forward –
-
